A Brief Bio or Personal Summary

Hi everyone, my name is Jon. I moved to the beautiful state of Washington about five years ago to start a family, and further pursue art as my dream career. I am an up-and-coming comic artist who wants to get his first break in the business. Years ago I went to college for graphic design, and then again for fine art. I try to use all of the artistic skills I learned in creating my comic visions. Currently I am chasing the dream of being a full-time freelance artist!

Influences & Inspirations

I grew up reading Marvel comics, mostly X-Men. What a surprise, Jim Lee was my biggest inspiration when I was younger. I am also influenced by historical religious artwork and film.

 

What are you currently working on?

I am currently working on an exciting period-piece graphic novel.

 

Why should people vote for you?

I am extremely motivated to live my dream and get published, for my wife, myself and to make my baby girl proud some day! I desperately want my foot in the door.
