A Brief Bio or Personal Summary

I'm an art school boy turned graphic designer. I grew up on a steady diet of comic books back when Wolverine was switching from primary colors to earth tones. Before I start to grow stupid like all old people do, I want to do what I've dreamed of for too long and put my pencils and pens to paper and make graphic novels until my hands bleed. And then draw with my blood.

Influences & Inspirations

My two biggest artistic influences are Bill Sienkiewicz, illustrator extraordinaire; and Barry Schactman, my figure drawing instructor from college, whose observational acumen, ability to interpret the human form, and demand of his students was inspirational when it wasn't intimidating.

What are you currently working on?

With a writer friend, I'm working on a short prologue graphic novel. Black-and-white, mostly pen and ink, emphasis on the graphic. We hope to make something fun to read, pretty to look at, and that will mess with people's heads a bit. Or a lot.

Why should people vote for you?

After years of deferring personal aspirations in favor of a regular job and raising two humans and a dog the right way, I've made a concerted effort to embrace my passion of storytelling through the visual medium. If you believe it's never too late to follow your dreams, vote for me! You should also vote for me if your favorite color is orange and you love the word onomatopoeia.
