Kassandra Davis is a Southern Californian native currently residing in Washington. Davis attended Cornish College of the Arts and graduated in 2013, earning a Bachelors in Fine Arts. Davis' goals and aspirations as a cartoonist and artist are to tell unabashed, truthful, and enlightening narratives which make the viewer laugh while also reflecting upon the themes presented. A painting professor of Davis' once said of her work, "it has a crude vulgarity, which isn't a bad thing."

What are you currently working on?
A weekly webcomic: mockeryandvodka.com, and I draw illustrations for Crotch Talk, an advice column for the adult-oriented Bellingham magazine, Bellingham on Tap.
Why should people vote for you?
To be honest, winning this would mean quite a lot to me. I will spare you a very long sob story filled with self pity and doubt but let's just say, nothing has ever come easily for me. I have had to work hard for just about everything I ever received and I definitely intend to make 2014 a year of action. I want to really push to put my webcomic Mockery and Vodka on the map as well as accomplish several other artistic goals I have planned. This vote of confidence would make my heart soar and instill in me that I am deserving of something and that what I am doing really matters to others.
