A Brief Bio or Personal Summary
I am an illustrator who likes to work with multiple themes and styles. When it comes to comic works however, I usually tend to go with my childhood obsession of littering pages with pictures of cats. I have worked on independently published comics including Mewbook, FM Transfer and Ranagazu and I previously worked on the comic Zspat for the chiptune website crunchyco.com. I have attended Short Run and Jet City Comicon to present my books and I sometimes sell paintings in Seattle coffee shops.

Influences & Inspirations
I have been influenced by Osamu Tezuka's works since I was a little kid watching Unico, alongside Cyborg Kuro Chan - a simply drawn manga about a robot cat that me and my friends in middle school would use to practice our Japanese. Street art and 60s-70s comics have also played a large part in my inspirations, including works from Vaughn Bode and Moebius.
What are you currently working on?
I have just completed a book for Emerald City Comic Con about a cat that runs a Japanese biker gang, and I am starting a comic pitch about a medieval thief who travels to different dimensions.
Why should people vote for you?
Receiving a grant would make it possible for me to publish more of my works in a larger format than the xerox and staple zines that I am, currently able to produce.
